My 70 year old mother, 4 year old son and I traveled to Australia for the first time. Our first activity in Melbourne was this tour. We enjoyed a really great day...starting out with Emily who was a fantastic tour guide! (Emily-you were awesome and I am sorry my review is now a year old!). We enjoyed some beautiful sights and had ample time at each stop. My son was a bit sick since we were already on our 2nd weeks of travel (we were in New Zealand prior to Australia) but he was a trooper and really liked seeing the animals (kangaroos and koalas) at the Moonlit Sanctuary and the penguins. Emily was helpful providing guidance on the better seating areas to see the penguins. After an awesome day, we all boarded the tour bus to head back to the city, only to realize the bus wouldn't start! An added adventure, we all patiently waited as another bus was arranged. Emily again was great and we all made the best of the time...we enjoyed seeing the stars out on the island. We finally got an alternate bus to take us back to the city but the traffic in the city was insane (it was a Friday night). However, we made it back and I give 5 stars for a great tour, tour guide, and how they managed an unexpected situation.

Slightly late pick up but traffic in Melbourne was chaotic! Drive out to the coast was slow, again due to traffic. Once there, the rest of the trip went very well. Good time to spend at each stop with lots of information along the way. Pengiuins did not disappoint and it was fantastic way to finish off the trip!

Phillip Island didn't disappoint. The penguins, of course, were the stars. But the rest of the day was outstanding as well. We enjoyed the Moonlit Sanctuary, Brighton Beach, and the Nobbies. Our guide Chris was personable and excellent. We're not usually fans of tours, but this one was excellent. I mean, you had me at penguins!!

We had a real nice day. Our tour guide Dan was a real nice guy who made us feel comfortable and amused us the whole day. Also my greatest respect for the patience he had with one of the travellers who thought she was on a private tour. The trip itself was wourth it's price, alltough I would definitely pay a little extra for a better view at the penguin parade (we did and we saw the difference). Dinner is not included, but we stopped in a real nice town with a lot of different restaurants, where you can find something for every budget.

What a fabulous day. A tour that has a great itinery and timed to perfection, well done Go West Tours and Yaszmin our tour guide.Picked up on time then quickly off to Brighton beach for the beach huts of all colours, then to the wildlife sanctuary which had a fabulous show to boot, then off to Hobbies where we were delighted to see some Penguin s already at the boxes from the boardwalk there. Just a taster to the landing of the Penguin s on the beach and following them on their path home.Just fabulous and would recommend for all to see. You should be proud of your tours and your tour guides

Our guide, Corey, was very knowledgeable and we were impressed with the prompt pickup at a hotel about a block from where we were staying. We always had a clear understanding of what to expect at each of our stops including what time we needed to be back to the bus. We especially appreciated the outline of when we'd have opportunities to eat and the fact that we could order food at the animal sanctuary in advance. The stops along the way to Philip Island were nice and helped to break up the long drive, but the real highlights were seeing the Nobbies and, of course, the Penguin Parade. We're glad we opted for the ranger tour because we learned a lot from our guide, Michael, and appreciated the special viewing area for our group. There were only 6 people in our tour. It was great to learn about the conservation work being done on the island to protect the penguins and other native species. Watching the penguins come in from the ocean was a truly magical experience that we would highly recommend.

Despite all the apprehension in AU from the COVID-19 threat (he mentioned we were his last group for who knows how long), Mike C. always had a super positive attitude and would make the group super excited by everything that was to come. Even though I have visited Phillip island before and fed kangaroos but he made it feel really special. Also love all the personal stories! Thanks for a great tour, Mike!

Excellent tour, particularly if you get Ricky as your driver/guide. He went above and beyond in helping us upgrade our tickets to the Guided Ranger Tour which was well worth the extra money. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We had the advantage of having only four in our group. Watching the little penguins race up the beach is a sight I will not soon forget.

Long but very enjoyable tour. Phillip Island was wonderful - really enjoyed seeing the penguins and Mike C, our guide, gave us great tips for where to go to get the best views during the parade of the penguins. Brighton Beach and the Moonlit Sanctuary were also great - lots of animals and very active. A long day but well worth it! Mike was a great host and guide. Highly recommend.
