Platform Artists Group Inc. was established by artists Andrew Seward and Richard Holt in 1990 as a non-profit public art organisation.

20 years on and as Melbourne's longest running artists-run initiative and public art project in the CBD, Platform continues to provide an engaging contemporary art program to public audiences at its two main locations: Campbell Arcade, the pedestrian underpass linking Flinders Street Railway Station to Degraves Street and the nearby Majorca Building in Centre Way Arcade off Flinders Lane.
