East and West Art Gallery was established in 1973 in High Street, Armadale moving to High Street, East Kew in 1989 to a more modern premise. Begun with a commitment to exhibit the best in Asian Art to complement it's Asian antiques it has developed into one of the major representatives of prominent Asian artists worldwide.

Director and founder Marjorie Ho is a qualified valuer to all the state and regional Galleries in Australia. She has discovered and broken ground in Australia with South-East Asian ceramics and furniture as well as many famous Asian Artists for the public to view and collect.

Each year eight to ten solo or mixed exhibitions are held.
Between these, collections of representative artist's works are available.
